Antarctic Quest-Black Penguin

Hello everyone! I'm glad to find you here. Today, we have such a cute and amusing task whom I added a bit of an educational note because we need to know some basic information about the issue. So, let me start a little before the beginning in order to get to the main task. We'll talk about Antarctic. It is a continental area that encompasses the South Pole and thus it is the coldest area covered by ice. Temperatures are very low and drop under -50 degree especially in winter although in the summer season temperatures are low too, due to the ice sheet which repels the sun's rays and prevents ice to melt. In such harsh conditions, humans cannot live and that is why this place is not inhabited, but it still remains a very interesting research area with large number of research stations located there in order to reveal all the secrets hidden under and above the ice. What is known for sure is that 20 species of birds live there, of which 17 are penguins. They are the subject of our interest today. Penguins, the sweetest among the birds, although you know that they can't fly.

Their wings have been transformed into fins to make swimming easier. Penguins are great swimmers, but even better skaters when they come out of the water into the snow. Because of all their characteristics, they are the most resilient creatures on the planet, considering that they have adapted to the harshest climate in Antarctica. Because of all this penguins are fascinating to me and I often like to watch documentaries or listen something about them. Also, I found my self very often to draw them. They are easy to draw. Everyone can draw them just you need to put in a little bit of an effort. Also, lately I like to make penguins using Plasticine. My son loves it too, so very often we decide to make penguins in various shapes and colors. It's too much fun. You can try it for yourself. First, you need to have play doh set for this purpose. You can use several colors by your choice. I select black color for my black penguin. And, it is time to start.

So far, we have shaped penguin's body and head.

After this age, children want bigger and more meaningful games and, accordingly, such toys are for ages 3+. Here are included different sets of board games, educational or games that encourage logical thinking in children. Also, in this age kids like to do crafts as well as modeling. These are very interesting play sets where children can express their creativity because they are asked to do something, create, assemble, paste, cut and so on. Today, I would like to talk about a set for play-doh modeling that carries the 3+ label. It is a set of several bins with different colors of play doh. Sometimes you are given a task for how can you make a figure of something or you are allowed to use your imagination and do whatever you want. Toys, toys, toys! Yes, do you hear, kids? Sounds magical, does it? I believe only children can hear that sound of magic. Such a marvelous and interesting world is created from every toy factory. Simply, the magic lies behind the word TOY. It is such a small word but, says so many things that only kids can understand what does this word have to tell them. Their secret language helps them achieve great happiness. Children's play is happiness. Playing with different toys is equal to great luck. From the very beginning of baby's live, there are toys everywhere around.

No one's childhood, simply can be imagined without toys. They are an integral part of the growing up. Every child loves to play with toys for unlimited time and always choose one toy as its favorite. When we talk about babies, they cry very often for different reasons. When they are hungry, wet or when they can’t get the right toy. Baby care requires a lot of responsibilities, skills and sacrifices. Babies have their own special needs, but have a such less patience. They easily begin to cry, sometimes no reason at all. That's why, parents often seek help among some interesting toys. Babies are attracted to the colors of that toy, the sound it makes, or the material that it is made of and stops crying in an instant. Sometimes a toy can occupy their attention for a long time, the smaller the children, the longer they play with toys. That's why you, as a parent, need often using the opportunity to give your child a toy and it doesn't have to cost a lot. You never know what object children can use to play with and almost always such a toy costs nothing. In every object they see something to play with. It is the game that is the most important in all of that. The toy can make kid stop crying for a moment but, what is long lasting is the fact that the toys and playing with them, develops children's brain functions, motor skills in the first place, logical thinking and creativity, means too much benefits. So, try to spend every possible time playing with your babies and then little bit later, with your children. That sweetest period in life will pass quickly. I intentionally do not say every free time, but possible time, because you have to find free time for your child, you have to play, and it is important especially in the period from 0 to three years. It is your parent's duty as you take care for the child, so to play with him. Until your child develops the imagination to play alone, you just have to work on it. Play with kid! Parents, play with your kids. It so fun and necessary!

The first steps of The painter

This is a story of one interesting person who has an even more interesting desire to become a famous painter. Do you want to hear it? For the purposes of this text, we have called that person, Daki the painter. He is the hero of our story which is so interesting from the very beginning. Everyone has their own wishes and plans. Some can come true and some remain just wishes. But, in the basic of the human nature is permissible to dream, want and plan. This is how the character develop and the foundation is laid for what you can become in life. So, our hero Daki has been thinking for a long time about what he wants to be in life and what it is the thing which will make him happy. With his family he lived in a place with beautiful nature and even more beautiful landscapes everywhere around as far as the eye can reach. So, that gave him the inspiration to develop his talent. This way he describes himself. I think I have talent for painting. I like to paint very much. I enjoy in every picture that I made. Colors are my huge passion and I love very much to mix them in order to convey my internal emotion into paintings. And, my emotions are always changing and constantly mixing up. So, they give me the opportunity to make different pictures full of colors. I draw on everything that I can use as a canvas. I must admit that I have so many pictures in my head that I simply have to revive all of them in the reality. And that is so great as long as I get into some trouble like this one I want to share with you. I think it's very interesting, so stay with me until the end. One perfectly sunny day my mother was drying the laundry outside on the wire. I was also outside watching her what she was doing. When she finished her work, she left the yard. Watching the cloths in front of me, I found this as a right chance to make the most beautiful drawings ever. So, I started to paint everywhere and I just can’t stop myself with it until I painted every single shirt. My joy was endless since everyone could see my drawings. And, the drawings were just amazing. I was so happy. Everything was fine until the moment when my mom saw her laundry. She didn't see the paintings. All she saw was dirty laundry. Oh, how sad is that? She was shocked and started shouting at me. I did not know what made her so mad. I thought she would be happy to see me painting so well. I really was a great painter. Believe me. But, I could not give her a good explanation why I dirtied her already washed laundry. I was sad that she couldn’t understand my art and no one will have the chance to see my pictures. Help me please! Do any of you have a solution for my problem?

Geometry into Nature

There is no greater or better master chief than the Nature itself. It has created every single thing we can see when we open the window. Also, the Nature has made even those things on the globe that we can’t see them. Everything is precisely and perfectly harmonized in every part of its existence. The whole living world functions flawlessly under the watchful eye of nature, which takes care for every inhabitant under the sky. And, just about everything that exists on the planet is in such precise synergy that even today, the nature powers challenge scientists to decipher the countless relationships that exist, but we cannot see them. And for those ones we see, we need an additional explanation that always ends with gratitude addressed to a nature which is responsible for everything. Great evolution has passed behind us and we know a lot of things today that we didn't know many years ago, but there are still a lot of things that nature jealously guards need to be explored. A large number of scientific disciplines have joined forces to discover the secrets of nature and give us answers to countless questions. That kind of research process is still ongoing. And, each new discovery is more fascinating than the previous one. Some of you will say what mathematics has to do with nature. But it has, and it has a lot. Mathematics is involved in almost everything related to life and the Planet. I'm fascinated by both of them so that my fascinations are related to things that I can see with my own eyes while not having professional background. From such a standpoint I would like to present to you a few things where I noticed mathematics into nature, and that is one of its branch called geometry. What is the most obvious and easily perceptible to almost everyone of us is the existence of a circle in the nature. "CIRCLE"

I know that there are countless places and objects around us, where circles can be found, but I have singled out three objects where the largest and the most visible circle is. Look at the picture from above. There are three prfecly circular objects. All three objects are presenting a perfect circle as we know it in the geometry. The bees have made the smartest use of the geometric figure called hexagon. With the help of this hexagon, they got a solid construction of their honeycomb responsible for storing the most precious liquid, honey. Also, the places where swarms of bees live, the so-called hives have a hexagonal shape. Real perfection, right? Do you have any other suggestion? Tell me about it. "RIGHT TRIANGLE"

Another great natural geometric marvel can be seen in the picture from above. Every tree, flower or plant that grows on the ground, when you observe it according to its basis, always forms a triangle with a right angle of 90 degrees. Discover A Bee's Life

A huge number of researchers have always been intrigued by one of the most mysterious species on earth – the Insects. They are fascinating and unique in every aspect, as how they look like, what they eat, where they live, how they reproduce, and so on. For me, their appearance is still the most interesting for researchers because they can exist in all possible conditions and can been seen in all possible colors, shapes and size from biggest to smallest, some have wings, some live under the earth and some above it. So, this means that there are too many things for exploring. But, for me, the BEES attract my greatest attention.

Yes, you must have heard the saying "smart as a bee". I believe that bees are very smart, but with my modest knowledge of bees, this saying is equal to "hardworker as a bee". They are famous for their hard work and we all know that bees are the greatest hard workers in the nature. Their communities are perfectly organized, everyone has their own work's share and they work all day long. It is the only insect that makes food which is eaten by humans. Honey is the most precious product of the bees and one of the safest foods on Earth also because of the fact that dangerous bacteria cannot live in honey. That is why the honey is also used as a preservative. Therefore, my modest knowledge of bees letting me to be fascinated by them so, I decided to write a text about bees. They deserve to be mentioned every step of the way and I hope that with my post I will try to make people change their attitude towards them, so that people will learn how to behave properly and less destructive to bees. But, the most relevant fact is that the bees participate in one of the most important life cycle, in pollination of flowers, from which should bear fruit. So, without bees the life of the plant stops and with it, everything else. Did you know that?

Another great thruth is that the nature creates miracles and that will be confirmed by participation of mathematics in everyday's life of the bees. It may sound strange to you but, bees depend a lot on geometric shapes. Do you know which shape is that?

That is the famous hexagon. First, their natural beehives, those made by themselves and not by man, look like a hexagon.

They live in hexagonal sell which is called honeycombs. Here, in every sell, bees storing the honey during flowering season. At the end man collects honey by squeezing the honeycombs. The honey is distributing in glass jar to the costumers.

Because of all this, bees are very interesting in the nature and as well as inspiration for various ivents like masquerades, school performances and the inevitable birthday parties. According to this I'm so happy to mention that my special interest is focused on the birthday parties with bees theme. Then I have decided my son for his first birthday to be a bee. Everyone enjoyed it because there were so many opportunities to show your creativity. Bees were everywhere around us. See for yourself.
